Shipping terms and conditions

Where do we ship?

We ship in almost all EU Schengen Members States: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, mainland Spain, Metropolitan France, the Netherlands, Portugal, the United Kingdom to name but a few. How do we ship?

We use the courier services of DPD group for most standard and express deliveries in Europe and of Mondial Relay for standard deliveries (private addresses and Packstation/Points Relais® near you). SEUR in Spain and Portugal for express deliveries.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are charged to the customer and are calculated automatically according to the destination country, the number of products ordered and the type of delivery requested. You will be informed of these costs during the checkout process (all applicable taxes included) and you can review them before by making some simulation at reviewing you cart.

Shipping costs can look exagerated but be sure we do not take any commission on the prices offered by the courier services and:

-The cost is related to a quick and premium shipping service (we have tried different options and...price sometimes means something.
-Our food and wine gourmet boxes are full of good things and thus....pretty heavy (3-4 kilos) 
-For home deliveries, prices are strongly decreasing according to quantities shipped to the same address! 

Shipping options

1. Standard home delivery: Available for shipping to Germany, the UK and Corsica (5/6 working day).

2. Express home delivery with DPD Group / Chronopost: this service is available for shipping for France (1/2 business days), to Belgium, Germany, the UK, The Netherlands (2/3 Business days), and to the rest of EU Schengen member states (3/5 business days).

3. Delivery to a PackStation/Point Relais® shop: available in Belgium, Luxembourg, mainland Spain and Metropolitan France.

Delivery times

Approximate delivery times are expressed in business days (Monday to Friday) and do not include Saturdays, Sundays or holidays (in the countries of origin and/or destination). In most cases, orders received after 12 noon local time are shipped out the following day.

1. Standard home delivery: Available for shipping to Germany, the UK and Corsica (5/6 working day).

2. Express home delivery:
- Mainland Spain, France, Portugal: 1/2 business days
- Belgium, Germany, , Luxembourg, Netherlands, the United Kingdom: 2/3 business days
- Italy, Austria and most of the rest of EU Schengen member states: 3/5 business days.

3. Delivery to a Punto Pack/Point Relais® for collection:
- Mainland Spain: 3/4 business days
- Belgium, Luxembourg and Metropolitan France: 4/5 business days.

Description and Terms of Service

It is very important that you provide a complete, accurate address where the order can be delivered during normal business hours, as well as a mobile phone (and landline) number and an email address where the recipient can be contacted. We will not be held liable for any delivery problems or mistakes if the address provided on the order form is incomplete, inaccurate or cannot be located.

Standard home delivery with MONDIAL RELAY

Conditions for delivery to mainland Spain

  • - Deliveries are made Monday through Friday
  • - A total of two attempts will be made to deliver the parcel
  • - If the recipient cannot be located on the first attempt, the courier will leave a notice with a contact phone number (provided s/he is able to access the area where the letterbox is located). The recipient will then have 24 hours in which to contact the local office and arrange a new delivery date and time
  • - After two unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us, and the customer must contact us within 15 calendar days to arrange a new delivery (additional shipping costs will be charged to the customer).

Conditions for delivery to Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom

  • - Deliveries are made Monday through Friday
  • - A total of two attempts will be made to deliver the parcel
  • - If the recipient cannot be located on the first attempt, the courier will leave a notice with a contact phone number (provided s/he is able to access the area where the letterbox is located). The recipient will then have 24 hours in which to contact the local office and arrange a new delivery date and time

Express home delivery with DPD / Chronopost / SEUR

Conditions for delivery to Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, mainland Spain, Metropolitan France, Netherlands, Portugal and the United Kingdom

  • - Deliveries are made Monday through Friday
  • - As this is a door-to-door delivery service, it is essential that you provide an address where the parcel can be delivered during business hours
  • - If delivery cannot be made on the first attempt, DPD / Chronopost will notify the recipient by phone or by email to organize new delivery.
Delivery to a Punto Pack/Point Relais® for collection
  • - The parcel is shipped to a collection point, and when it arrives the recipient will be notified by text message and email
  • - A second notice will be sent by text message if the parcel is not collected within 7 calendar days. After this time, the parcel will be returned to us, and the customer must contact us within 15 calendar days to arrange a new delivery (additional shipping costs will be charged to the customer).
Defective/damaged products

When you receive your order, if you suspect that the products have been damaged in transit do not sign for the parcel. Contact us and we will handle the incident. To prevent such problems, all of our boxes are shipped in protective packing materials to ensure that the products arrive in perfect condition.

Delivery hours

The courier services do not allow us to specify a timeframe for delivery, so we recommend providing an address where someone is always present during the day to accept the delivery on the first attempt.

We have made every effort to offer our customers a high-quality, personalized delivery service; however, it is ESSENTIAL that you provide an email address and phone number (mobile and landline) for the recipient so s/he can be contacted if necessary.
