OUR HAUTE-SAVOIE GOURMET GIFT Box, ALPES

Experience the succulent delights of the Alpes gastronomy, as you eat your way through this fabulous Haute-Savoie region's gourmet box.

Altesse Seyssel “Roussette” Cuvée Majéran 2019, white wine (75 cl)

vin-blanc-altesse-seysselWinery: Domaine Gérard Lambert, Biodynamie, Gérard et Cathie Lambert.

Welcome to one of the oldest and smallest controlled designations of origin in France: AOP Seyssel, hugging the banks of the Rhone west of Annecy.

The wines from Gérard and Cathie’s estate are certified AB (Agriculture Biologique), and they tend their vineyards according to the principles of biodynamic farming.

This white wine, made entirely from Altesse grapes, has a lovely golden yellow colour and a bouquet of white flowers that gradually emerges over the aroma of acacia blossoms. Frank and unambiguous in the mouth with light citrus notes, it can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with a Savoyard repast.

Serve chilled between 9º and 12ºC.

Artisanal Haute-Savoie terrine with walnuts (100 g)

terrine-alpes-noixArtisan: Conserverie artisanale Les Délices d'Alpage, Philippe Monet.

Nestled in the heart of the French Alps, near the Haute-Savoie town of Morzine, the preserving artisans at Les Délices d'Alpage have found a way to share their authentic regional cuisine with the world, using only fresh, local, premium products prepared without additives, preservatives, or texturizers.

Now you can try their delicious terrine of pure pork with chopped walnuts, an amazing recipe that captures the essence of this lovely French region.

Crisp organic shortbread biscuits with Comté cheese and poppyseed (100 g)

sables-comteArtisan: Biscuiterie artisanale Alpes Biscuits - Bio Soleil, Famille Ollivier.

Your foodie friends will rave over these deliciously crisp biscuits, made of pure butter and 21% AOP Comté, the quintessential Savoy cheese.

And they’ll be even more delighted to know that every ingredient is organic!

Artisanal vinegar with wild blueberries (25 cl)

vinaigre-myrtille-artisanalArtisan: Conserverie Les Bosses, L'Alpage d'Edmée, Camille et Franck Dalibard.

Amid the lakes and peaks of Noyer, our artisan creates a variety of delicacies featuring wild mountain berries.

This original vinegar is made by slowly macerating blueberries in distilled white vinegar.

Ideal for adding a fresh and fruity splash to your salads.

Pan-fried diots over buckwheat crozets au gratin, typical home-style dish of Savoy (300 g)

diots-crozet-sarrasinArtisan: Conserverie artisanale Les Délices d'Alpage, Philippe Monet.

The small Savoyard sausages known as diots, prepared and cooked by a skilled butcher, are a must for anyone truly interested in experiencing the cuisine of the French Alps.

Here they are served with cheese-topped buckwheat crozets, small square pasta pieces measuring 5 mm across and 2 mm thick.

Let us know what you think of this authentic mountain recipe!

Fresh, smooth, sweet mountain lozenges: Pastille des Alps with génépi from Savoy (35 g box)

pastille-des-alpesArtisan: Confiserie artisanale L'Atelier des Lacs, Geoffroy Mollier.

This artisan makes “healthy sweets” from mountain herbs and flowers. Local growers and gatherers supply Geoffroy with the natural Alpine plants he uses to flavour his lozenges. His recipes contain no added sugar, as he wants to preserve the authentic aroma of these mountain treasures. Moreover, his artisanal production process, which does not involve cooking, locks in all the natural properties and flavours of his ingredients, giving each lozenge an exceptional taste.

These pastilles are infused with génépi, an iconic flowering plant from the French Alps that's bound to impress your taste buds.

Artisanal seedless raspberry jam (240 g)

confiture-framboise-alpes-artisanaleArtisan: Exploitation familiale de Haute-Savoie La Framboiseraie, Chantal et Philippe Pouillard.

La Framboiseraie is a small (3-hectare) family-owned estate in Haute-Savoie that applies the principles of agroecology, where a handful of artisans cultivate and process all sorts of fruit, berries, and nuts—including raspberries, of course! The berries are picked by hand when they ripen.

This hand-crafted raspberry jam is delightfully smooth as the seeds have been removed.

Organic chestnut cake with chestnut cream (260 g)

cake-haute-savoie Artisan : Biscuiterie artisanale Alpes Biscuits - Bio Soleil, Famille Ollivier

An original recipe for soft, moist cake combined with authentic chestnut cream, made from 100% organic ingredients.

Gourmands, it’s your lucky day!

Bon Voyage to the Alpes in Haute-Savoie !
