Description: this is a complex and intense red wine, whose burst of fruity flavours with woody notes will allow you to savour a fusion of the three principal grape varieties grown in La Rioja (Grenache, Tempranillo and Graciano), the most appreciated Spanish wine region worldwide. And so much more! Deep red with a cherry red colour, black fruit aromas (prunes and blackberries) with aromatic herbs like mint and spices like black pepper and nutmeg notes, pleasantly tangy. Well-structured with very polished tannins, satiny and round, with good persistence and length. Just delicious when served with Pata Negra for instance!

Serving suggestions: we recommend serving it at a temperature of between 16°C and 18°C.

Serving suggestions: to appreciate the full texture, aroma and flavour of this ham, it should be eaten at room temperature, never cold (between 18°C and 23°C). Noted for its texture and flavour, this premium cured sausage is made like traditional Catalonian longaniza, with select cuts of pork meat and lard in a natural casing, but seasoned with typical chorizo spices like paprika. The taste is absolutely amazing, and the natural drying process gives it an incomparable aroma. The perfect snack with a glass of fine Rioja red!

Serving suggestions: we recommend serving it in thin slices as an appetizer or snack. As it is vacuum-packed, we also recommend letting it breathe for 24 hours before serving to achieve the right colour, consistency and appearance. Once the vacuum seal is broken, remove the product from the bag. Store between 2°C and 7°C.

A blend of Tempranillo and Graciano, the appellation's 2 flagship red grape varieties, with a touch of Grenache and a long period of barrel ageing, winner of multiple awards and acclaimed by the critics, here is a Rioja wine - the D.O.C. (the equivalent of our A.O.C.) in all its splendor, where fruit and wood are finely blended to deliver a real treat on the palate and a perfect companion for a very successful marriage with our box of Iberian delicatessen. Deep cherry-red in color, with a complex, intense nose of wild berries and plums and hints of spices (pepper and cloves) on a background of dark chocolate, our Rioja is powerful, round and unctuous on the palate, while retaining a lovely freshness and persistence. It's a little gem that's a delightful accompaniment to the pata negra ham in our gourmet gift box.
