Winemaker: Jérôme Esteve, Château Montfin.
On the hills of Peyriac de mer, in a magnificent setting, Carignan and Grenache vines flourish in the sunshine. Organic since 2011, Jérôme Esteve offers us a wine of astonishing quality at these price levels. The name of this cuvée, Sur Pilotis, evokes the magnific stroll "on stilts" that crosses Peyriac de Mer's ponds, where pink flamingos frolic. To take this path is to experience an incredible feeling of freedom, with the exhilarating sensation of walking on water..
This cuvée combines freshness, fruitiness and lightness, with a hint of iodine from the vineyard's proximity to the sea. An expressive nose of ripe fruit, strawberry and bigarreau, the palate has a very supple attack that opens onto the fruit, well supported by very soft tannins with a pretty finish with a hint of spice.
This is a wine for pleasure, a gourmet wine, which can be enjoyed as an aperitif to accompany the tasting of your aperitif box, or with grilled meats, stuffed vegetables or spicy dishes.
An expressive, fruity Corbières of great finesse to drink on any occasion!
Recommended serving temperature: 18º.
Artisan: Biscuiterie Papillon Bio, Ardèche.
Discovered recently, these breadstick-like cookies have really won us over: crunchy of course, ideal for savoring as a spread or to munch on when you're feeling a bit peckish, but above all, they taste wonderful. It's very rare to be able to give a real taste of thyme and good olive oil to a dry cake, and we tasted a lot of them.

Artisan: Conserverie bretonne L'Atelier Bernard Marot.
To bring out the subtle fragrance of scallops, our artisan has gone straight to the essentials: a delicious organic recipe rich in scallops with a touch of crème fraîche and a squeeze of lemon for a smooth texture and refined taste. Enjoy it on toast with our delicious organic white wine, you're in for a real treat!
Artisan: Le Mottay Gourmand.
Here's a craftsman who has (quite simply) given us a new taste (and what a taste it is!) for a meat, pork, too often and unfairly considered unrefined, and yet... Carefully selected cuts (shoulder, belly and hard fat), a hint of Guérande salt, a pinch of white pepper and a slow cooking time of around fifteen hours in a cauldron give these artisanal rillettes an outstanding flavor and smoothness.
Gourmandise and elegance are the watchwords of this tangy recipe, in which old-fashioned ORGANIC pork rillettes are combined with preserved lemon. Magic for the most discerning taste buds! With no additives or preservatives, they can be enjoyed au naturel on a piece of fresh bread or toasted toast.
Artisan-grower: Vire Vent de Provence family farm.
Raphaëlle grows her chickpeas organically on her farm and cooks them in her workshop according to a Provencal recipe. Chickpeas are truly her specialty, and her "Poichichade" recipe is a secret blend of AOC Haute Provence olive oil, crushed sesame, lemon juice, garlic and spices... and beautiful chickpeas, of course! Rich in vegetable proteins, this spread is naturally gluten-free and lactose-free, making it suitable for vegetarians and gourmets alike.
This "poichichade", inspired by Lebanese hummus, can be enjoyed as an aperitif on toast or with fresh vegetable sticks. A taste of the authentic for a pork-free, alcohol-free aperitif!

Handcrafted and local organic production, short circuits, respect for producers and the environment: these are the values of our artisan that we obviously share at La Gourmet Box. Strong values for a successful aperitif! Clac works with some fifteen organic producers in Auvergne to offer us delicious, 100% natural spreads.
The sweetness of beet blends with the freshness of goat's cheese to create a delicious alchemy! Ideal on slices of fresh bread, to accompany vegetable sticks or breadsticks, for example..
Artisan: Conserverie artisanale Notre Terre.
This subtle combination of green olives and almonds gives us a very fine aperitif spread that brings a sensation of freshness to the palate and magnifies the olive.
And if it's organic, and the health benefits of olives are undeniable, don't hesitate to enjoy it on toast as an aperitif, of course, but also to stuff a fish or garnish a puff pastry.
Farmer-miller-biscuit maker: l'Atelier Contal
In the heart of the Ardennes, we discovered this nugget of a craftsman-grower who does everything (or almost everything!) himself and on site. The organic buckwheat grown on his farm is stone-ground on site, and forms the basis of this recipe for very fine, extremely addictive cookies.
The minimal sugar content brings out the finesse of the chocolate, all accompanied by a magnificent texture. And what's more, this delicious cookie is organic and gluten-free, for those whose allergy limits their sweet tooth.... What a delight!
Artisan: L'Attelier de Clisson.
In this workshop in the heart of Guérande in western France, everything is handcrafted from organic and mostly local ingredients. The dried fruits (the basis of all our recipes) are dried, sweetened, salted, caramelized, spiced... There's something for every taste. For our boxed set, it was the Organic Caramelized Cashews subtly spiced with Kâmpôt Pepper PDO that won us over: original (it's a change from the typical salted cashews), surprising (the peppery note on the caramel makes for a great tasting moment...) and (super!) extra crunchy.
